2019 Walk Away From Drugs

2019 Walk Away From Drugs Get ready to stride with pride for the 13th Annual Walk Away from Drugs and 5K run on Wednesday, October 23rd, hosted by the Bullhead City Police & Fire Departments during Red Ribbon Week.

“We encourage all participants to wear red and hold signs or banners to show their commitment to a drug-free lifestyle,” said Community Services Officer Lorrie Duggins. The Red Ribbon campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program nationwide. The campaign began in 1985 when drug traffickers in Mexico City murdered DEA agent Kiki Camarena.
