At Least 19 Dead, 16 Missing in Japan’s Worst Typhoon in 6 Decades

The powerful typhoon, forecast to be Japan's worst in six decades, made landfall on Saturday, 12 October, and passed over Tokyo, where streets, nearby beaches and train stations were long deserted.
