Fairfield holds on to pit bull ban after recent movement to overturn ordinance

FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WKRC) - You still cannot own a pit bull in Fairfield.

There was a recent movement to overturn the ordinance with people saying the dog is not inherently aggressive, but the city council voted 4 to 3 Tuesday night to keep the ban in place.

It's a misdemeanor to own a pit bull within city limits, and the dog would be removed or killed.
