In recent years- more and more movies have been crossing the billion dollar mark at the box office. To date, 43 have them have made more than 1 billion dollars-- and OF those 43… Only FOUR were original movies. Every single other one was a reboot, sequel, remake or adaptation.

What’s even crazier than that? Disney owns the grand majority of them!
