Keepsake Christmas Gift Bag or Storage Box

In this video tutorial I will show you how to make this beautiful keepsake gift bag. It can also be used as a storage box. The final measurement is 8 3/4 X 12.

To make these you will need…
2 pieces of 12 x 12 pattern card for the main box
Score along the 12″ side at 4 x 11 ½
Score along the other side at 4 & 10

2 pieces of 5 x 8 ¼ coordinating card for the roof
Score along the 5 side at 1

1 piece of 5 ¼ x 8 ½ strong chipboard for the base

1 piece of 6 ½ x 10 ½ thick white paper to cover the base

1 piece of 8 ⅜ x 5 ⅛ pattern paper to cover the very bottom

4 pieces of 2 x 2″ white card for the windows

4 pieces of 1 ¾ x 1 ¾ red card for the inside window

8 strips of 2 x ¼ white card for the window frame detail

1 piece of 2 ¼ x 4 white card for the door

1 piece of  2 x 3 ¾ red card for the door

2 pieces of 1 ⅜ x 2 ½ red card for the chimney

2 pieces of ½ x 1 ½ white card for the top of the chimney

2 strips of 1 x 8 ¼ white card for the top of the roof

4 strips of 2 ⅛ X ⅜ for under windows

Cotton ball, ribbon, and embellishments
