Avocado farmers have been advised to only sell ripe and mature fruits at the international markets so as to attract better prices. The Avocado society of Kenya chairperson Ernest Muthomi says Kenyan variety normally fetches two hundred shillings less citing failure to meet the required fat content due to early harvesting.
