How I made used of Foam (old sleeping foam) for Hydroponic.

How I made used of Foam (old sleeping foam) for Hydroponic. I old foam cut into pieces (about 1 inch) to hold young vegetable plants for placement into plastic cup in my hydroponic. Instead of throwing the old foam, I made full use of the foam as a way to reduce cost of hydroponic which in this case as a replacement of rookwool.

I hope everyone who see this video will learn and make full use of this knowledge and share this technique which proven to be as good as it is. The foam hold the young plant firmly leaving just the bottom (the roots) part right into contact the nutrient solution.

Cheap ordinary (drinking) plastic cup is used instead of net pot which is very costly indeed. I made hole in the plastic cup with hot pipe leaving a bit a bottom intact to hold the foam. Some plastic cup bottom is cut off completely depending on what type of plant to grow.

For these two reasons (cut foam and plastic cup) instead of rockwool and net pot, I managed to save the overall costs of growing vegetables.

I hope those of you who watch this video will learn and make full use of this technique. Share this knowledge with fellow hydroponic friends so that the cost of delivering foods to table can be reduced.
