Iran Nuclear Deal: France raises possibility of sanctions' return The French foreign minister has warned of the possibility of triggering a mechanism in the 2015 Iran nuclear deal which could lead to the re-imposition of the United Nations sanctions.
Jean-Yves Le Drian made the comments at the National Assembly's foreign affairs committee. He described actions taken by Iranian authorities as QUOTE progressively at odds with the contents of the nuclear deal. Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov blamed the United States for destroying the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. Ryabkov stressed that the international community is expecting the extermination of the deal due to Washington’s measures. He added that the U-S has kept no other choices for Iran but to reduce its commitments under the deal.
