ASEAN-ROK Startup EXPO, ComeUp 2019 (2019 한-아세안 스타트업엑스포, ComeUp)

The 2019 ASEAN-Republic of KOREA Commemorative Summit was held in Busan, from November 25 to 26 in order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the dialogue partnership between Korea and ASEAN. ASEAN-ROK Startup EXPO, ComeUp 2019, which can help the startups of Korea and ASEAN broaden their distribution network, was also held during the summit. And it is expected to accelerate the growth of businesses, aside from the diplomatic field. The event was organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups as well as Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. And it aims to boost the globalization of Korean startup businesses. A talks concert was held during the event and it has provided information on startups and contributed to enhancing the capabilities of startup companies. The unicorn companies of Korea and ASEAN shared their success stories with the audience. Also, a mentoring service was provided by unicorn companies and global investors in order to support the expansion of distribution network through IR pitching and help startups gain ground in the global market. Moreover, an event was held to introduce Korean companies which have achieved innovative growth by cooperating with ASEAN countries. We explore ASEAN-ROK Startup EXPO, ComeUp 2019, which was held to accelerate mutual growth between Korean and ASEAN and to better cope with the rapidly changing economic environment.

아세안 국가와의 대화관계 수립 30주년을 기념하기 위한 2019 한-아세안 특별정상회의가 지난 11월 25일부터 26일, 양일간 부산에서 성공적으로 개최됐다. 특히 이번 특별정상회의 기간 내 한-아세안 스타트업 기업들의 판로개척을 도와줄 '2019 한-아세안 스타트업 엑스포, ComeUp'이 열려 외교는 물론 기업 경제에도 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대를 모았다. 이번 엑스포는 중소벤처기업부와 중소벤처기업진흥공단이 주관하는 행사로, 대한민국이 스타트업의 강국으로 한 단계 도약하여 스타트업의 글로벌화가 가장 큰 목적이다. 부대 행사 중 스타트업에 대한 정보를 얻고 기업의 역량강화를 위한 토크 콘서트에는 한-아세안의 유명한 유니콘 기업들의 창업 성공 스토리를 청중과 공유하는 시간을 가지기도 했다. 또한 IR피칭을 통해 기업의 판로 개척에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있도록 유니콘 기업과 글로벌 투자자의 멘토링을 받고, 스타트업의 글로벌 진출 전략을 구체화하는 협업방안을 모색하는 시간도 가졌다. 나아가 아세안지역들과 협력을 통해 성장하고 있는 대한민국의 기업들을 만나볼 수 있는 행사도 진행되었다는데, 빠르게 성장하는 세계경제 속에서, 대한민국과 아세안이 함께 협력하여 동반성장을 꾀하기 위해 개최된 '2019 한-아세안 스타트업엑스포, ComeUp'의 현장을 만나본다.
