Scientists Discovered 3 Merging Supermassive Black Holes!

400 million light years away there is a massive galaxy called NGC 6240. It spans 300,000 light-years across and has an elongated shape with branching tails. Scientists used to believe that NGC 6240 was formed by the collision of 2 galaxies therefore it must have 2 Black Holes.

But according to a latest research NGC 6240 contains 3 massive Black Holes each with a mass of about 90 million Suns. NGC 6240 is going through merging process and also their Black Holes are merging and when that happens in future it will create powerful gravitational waves.
