CAA protests: SC refuses to intervene on pleas on police crackdown

Hearing a bunch of petitions against the police crackdown on students in Delhi’s Jamia Millia Islamia and at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) who were protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act, the Supreme Court said each of the incidents have happened in different places and different steps have been taken by different authorities, and therefore petitioners should approach the respective high courts.
