Carrying Dead Infant among Wild Bonobos!

Sometimes wild bonobos carry the dead infant, as well as other primates (Kano 1992; Gonçalves & Carvalho 2019)

Ichi who is an adult female in PE group gave birth Nov 2018, but the infant was dead.
However, she continued to carry the dead infant for a few days.
