The Ohoopee Match Club, situated in the sandbelt of southeastern Georgia, is devoted purely to match play. When Michael Walrath hired Hanse Golf Course Design to build the course, he encouraged them to throw the "card-and-pencil mentality" out the window. That was wonderfully liberating for the design team.
