Etrian Odyssey V - Hippogryph (Advanced) (Possibly No Damage)

Etrian Odyssey V - Hippogryph (Advanced) (Possibly No Damage) Battle starts at 1:41
Hippogryph's conditional loot requires the enemy to be killed on the first turn, which is pretty much impossible during the first encounter. There is an item called Formaldehyde which guarantees all enemies' loot, but it's also not available at this point.

Party: Fencer - Pugilist / Warlock - Dragoon - Shaman
Fencer and Pugilist become the main damage dealer in the team, whereas Warlock becomes the secondary attacker, and the other two give support to the team.

Several notes about the battle:
This battle will be cleared very fast (in just four turns), and the only moment where the boss can deal damage is on the second turn, if it's possible. It'll be described later.

Assuming all characters stay healthy and can serve their best role all the time, the battle should go like this:
Fencer: Bravant → Chain Shock x3
Pugilist: Overexertion (Self) → Thunder Fist x3
Warlock: Chain Blast + Bravant → Focus Chant + Lightning x3
Dragoon: Dragon Roar (Fencer) → Attack x3
Shaman: Bolt Prayer → Dance Oracle → Bolt Prayer → Dance Oracle

* Turn 1
Hippogryph always starts the battle by performing Panic Glare which attempts to inflict Panic to one character. It won't happen since Chain Blast will shut him down.

* Turn 2
This time Hippogryph can perform either normal attack, Bind Claw which uses arms, or Back Kick which uses legs. Using skills is not possible since the boss is fully bound at the moment. If he does that you'll win this battle without taking any damage. At the worst case, he'll perform normal attack, but thanks to Dragon Roar it'll target Fencer who equips the best available armor and shield at this moment.

* Turn 3
The burst damage last turn will cause Hippogryph to perform Sky Dive which deals cut damage to all characters and give physical ATK debuff to hit target for 4 turns. Once again it won't happen since his arms is still bound. However, even though the attack fails, Wing Shield will be activated at the end of turn.

* Turn 4
Under Wing Shield state Hippogryph won't attack, so you have nothing to worry about.
