'I don't really consider Ding Liren to be my friend' - Wang Hao Just before the World Rapid and Blitz 2019 is about to begin in Moscow, we catch up with Wang Hao, the man who won the Grand Swiss 2019 and qualified for the Candidates 2020. We ask Wang Hao about how life has been since qualification.

2020 is a special year for China as two of their players will be fighting it out at the Candidates 2020 - Wang Hao and Ding Liren. What does Wang Hao think about his country mate? "I don't really consider Ding Liren to be my friend," says Wang Hao and in this interview he tells us the reason why Ding Liren's career trajectory has been different from his own.
