Unfortunate news come from TWICE's Jihyo. On December 8th, TWICE members arrived at Gimpo International Airport after completing their scheduled in Japan. On this day, there were a lot of fans at the airport to see them.
However, things went to chaos at the airport. One fan fell down in the crowd and Jihyo also tripped over the fan's foot and was injured.
JYP Entertainment released an official notice immediately. The full announcement reads as follows.
"Hello. This is JYP Entertainment. At Gimpo International Airport, an accident occurred when our artist fell down due to not-organized photographers.
Following artists after airport immigration screening is strictly prohibited. According to our company's blacklist regulations, people who do this will not be able to participate in public broadcasting and all other activities.
We may also seek legal action if the same issue reoccurs. Safety is not only for our artists but also for the fans and the public.
Please always keep the order and refrain from prohibitions, such as following TWICE during an unofficial schedule.
We will do our best to ensure the safety of our artists. Thank you."
After the announcement was made, TWICE's member Jeongyeon uploaded a post on TWICE's official Instagram. She wrote,
"We came back to Korea safely. Thank you for coming to the airport to see us but I hope for everyone not to get hurt. Be careful going home. The weather is really cold. Don't catch a cold."
