Navy marks age-long tradition of lowering the flag

The Nigerian Navy says it will intensify security patrols in the rivers and creeks in the South South region .

Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command says the presence of his men in the maritime environment will forestall the activities of criminals this yuletide.
