Significant weather event possible where areas could see in excess of 200mm rain December 24

A significant weather event could impact Northern parts of NSW along with South East Queensland and other places. South Brisbane Storm Chasers via their Facebook page is indicating, possibly, in excess of 200mm of rain in coming hours.

We do advise people to monitor the BOM's NSW& QLD Warning pages. The latest Rainfall outlook and storms also remain likely.
