The Awesome Power of Deciding

Today, I feel inspired to talk about the power of deciding. The power of making a decision. I posted in the Inspired Life Tribe, what was your win for the week. So many commented they were so inspired by that. One inspired me, Sarah Eden. She shared that her win was that she had made a decision on something that she had been needing to make a decision on for quite some time. She had been struggling with indecisiveness. She made a decision in favor of herself and that is powerful.

When you know in your heart you made a decision that honors you, it is huge. Definitely a win all day long! I have struggled with this my whole life. I felt like if I didn’t make a decision then I didn’t have to deal with it. Whatever “it” might be. We have choices to make all day long. Some are minimal like what do we eat for breakfast. Others are more life changing. Indecision is a thief of opportunity. It’s only when you make a decision, you have an opportunity to take a step forward in some direction. Indecision keeps you stuck. It causes you to recreate your existing reality over and over again. If you would listen to your heart and make a decision, it gives you the fuel to take a step on your path.

There is no wrong way to go. If you make a decision and it doesn’t feel right, you can always course correct your path. Every day is a new day. Every breath is a breath. Every moment is a new moment. An opportunity to decide again. . Life is uncertain. It is not often we can be certain about the outcome. We are giving guidance on our path, and if we listen we can find it. You will know what to do. Trust yourself!

Deciding
