The Centre on Monday signed an agreement with representatives of the banned Assam-based insurgent group National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), a move that is expected to boost peace in the Northeast. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal were present as the Centre signed the tripartite agreement with the representatives of factions of banned organisations.
