Very often the agent in discharging port is nominated by receiver. In this case, if Shipper does not trust receiver’s agent, they will nominate a protective agent. This is more necessary in ports where operations/regulations are complicated and lack of transparency. Major CPA functions including keeping charterer closely updated of the vessel/cargo movement; giving constructive suggestions for the issues they may encounter in port ; manage safety and compliance risk in the port. With CPA service, customers will have a peace of mind.
Bunkering Service Agreement
