This subreddit is one of my favourites. I love every chance that I get to dive into r/SapphoAndHerFriend. The fun ways people counter ignorance, the way people poke fun at historical inaccuracies, the different light we can view people from the past in based on current context -- it's all good. Love is love. Acceptance is important, and if through history we could have been more accepting, then I think we would have had a plethora of romantic stories available to us now that have been lost to time.

The line "gal pals" will never not be funny to me. I love the humour those who can see the romance have. All of you are lovely.
