As the days go by, we start to get discouraged.
Instead of measuring the progress we’re making or the positive change that’s occurring, we measure how far away we are from the result we want.
The distance may be short, but as we compare where we are to where we want to be, the distance is amplified until it seems BIG. We start feeling like a failure, and eventually we give up and throw our goals away.
