How can you make and maintain friendships while traveling?
The problem that a lot of nomads run into is that people in the nomad community tend to be pretty transient. People who were willing to move once are more likely to move again, which can oftentimes make it more difficult to build lasting relationships with them.
Following the trifecta strategy and having just a few bases is going to give you a much better opportunity to make friends as opposed to someone who is constantly on the move. If you are someone who values longer-term friendships, you should likely consider having fewer and more stable bases so that you can spend the time needed to create lasting friendships in those areas.
