HEY, Y'ALL !! HERE'S A SIMPLE STYLE THAT I ONLY DO ONCE A YEAR & THE REASON FOR THAT IS I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT LIKE SLEEPING IN BANTU KNOTS! LOL & KNOW MATTER HOW LOOSE I PUT THE KNOTS I STILL TEND TO GET A HEADACHE ... BUT IT DOES LOOK PRETTY & IF YOU KEEP THEM IN AT JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF TIME YOU GET LOVELY, LOOSE, & BOUNCY CURLS!! I TYPED THE STEPS DOWN BELOW :) THANKS FOR WATCHING & AS ALWAYSSSS ONE LOVEEEE
*washing your hair is optional before doing this style but if you do keep in mind that you will have to keep the knots in much longer than 24hrs depending on if you air dry or sit under the dryer. You want to make sure your hair is DRY before letting down the knots or else you would have done the entire style for no reason.* IF YOU DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR HAVE A SPRAY BOTTLE WITH WATER SO THAT WAY YOU CAN SPRITZ YOUR HAIR AND DAMP IT... YOU DO NOT WANT TO TWIST YOUR LOCS WHEN THEY ARE DRY. IF YOU WASHED YOUR HAIR YOU DO NOT NEED A SPRAY BOTTLE BECAUSE YOUR HAIR WILL BE DAMP ALREADY.
1. Spray root to bottom of loc of water to get it nice and damp the way you want it
2. Twisting & touching up your roots is optional, but if you choose to do so, use whatever gel you prefer and twist your loc neatly
3. Use however many locs you want in each knot, I used about 4-5 locs. So once all the locs in that group are twisted then I do a "two strand twist" to keep them all together
4. Then I twist all the locs into a ball or a knot. I let the knot fall into place as you can see in the video. Depending on how you twist the group of locs the knot will fall into place.. (I hope that makes sense)
5. The knot should naturally tuck itself ... as you roll your locs into a knot just tuck as you roll, you will know you have rolled them right because your locs will stay in place before you secure them with a rubber band or anything of your choose. (Some folks use bobby pins)
6. Use a rubber band or anything of your choose to secure the knot.. I like to use rubber bands because they are painless, stay in place, and keeps my locs from unraveling out of the knot.
7. Keep the loc in for at least 24hrs or however long you like or can stand, but make sure they are dry before you unravel them!!!
THE END. :)
