Several arrested in China for spreading false information about pneumonia cases

Chinese officials have arrested several people for spreading fake news online about the viral spread of pneumonia in the city of Wuhan in Hubei province. Rumours on social media alleged that there had been an outbreak of SARS, a highly contagious respiratory disease. Authorities said it is untrue and no person-to-person transmission has been found so far.
