The Hollywood actor, who attended the Golden Globes with wife Rita Wilson, didn't do much to hide his reaction during Ricky Gervais' cutting opening monologue . The 63-year-old didn't seem to be a fan of the British comedian's divisive comments, which took aim at Leonardo DiCaprio's increasingly younger girlfriends, Harvey Weinstein and trolled the audience over political acceptance speeches. Back in the presenting seat for a fifth time, Ricky made sure he brought his razor-sharp wit once more. In one clip, the Forest Gump actor raised his eyebrows and looked tight-lipped, while Ricky Gervais took aim at the evening's attendees. In another shot, broadcast on NBC, Tom started to frown before cracking up in a fit of giggles. Social media soon blew up with pictures of the A-lister failing to go along with Ricky's gags, and soon became the biggest meme of the night. Meanwhile, a number of other celebrities were unconvinced with the quick quips. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who was sat alongside Tom, looked similarly irked by the funnyman's clear-cut humour. During his opening speech, Ricky lectured Hollywood on Jeffrey Epstein, took aim at Felicity Huffman's college cheating scandal and called out Apple. He said: "This is the last time I’m hosting these awards, so I don’t care anymore. I’m joking, I never did! "Martin Scorsese said the Marvel films remind him of theme parks," he remarked. "I don't know what he's doing hanging around theme parks - he's not big enough to go on the rides."
