Last week, I was out flying one of my newer drones (Mavic Air) just to play around with it while I had some daylight left. Before turning back around and heading home, I decided to drive down a little farther than I planned and stumbled upon a waterfall just south of Cornwall, Virginia (it's tiny, don't even know if it's considered a village). I've lived her for nearly four years and have NEVER seen it or heard anyone talk about it. Pretty cool little discovery; definitely a place to take the kiddos during the summer.
It's these small little excursions I've been taking on terminal leave that result with fun little locations to revisit in the future. Friends or family visiting and don't have enough time to drive to crabtree? Too easy, just take them to Cornwall and see the falls there.
So while you're on terminal leave, or any time off for the matter, drive a little farther than you planned and maybe you'll discover something cool for yourself!
