AFL 'needs to resolve issue of homophobia'

AFL 'needs to resolve issue of homophobia' The Daily Telegraph’s Matt Logue says “there is certainly an issue in the AFL that needs to be resolved” regarding homophobia.

This comes after former AFLW player Moana Hope revealed the homophobic abuse she received in her career.

“No matter where a person goes, to the footy, in the public, to a concert, they shouldn’t have to put up with that sort of abuse,” Mr Logue told Sky News.

“It would be good if the AFL get on the front foot and be proactive and they stamp it out”.

“It just can’t be tolerated.”
