The Neil Aggett Inquest has heard of more brutality endured by anti-apartheid activists at the hands of police. Ismail Momoniat is the latest witness who has detailed how security branch officers changed their torture tactics after Dr. Neil Aggett's death. Momoniat was detained at the same time as Aggett. He's also shared his encounters with Aggett before his questionable death.
He was found hanging in his cell on the 5th of February 1982.
