Continuing a cruise up the Yangtze River…visitors will reach the county of Yunyang, a county, like so many along the river, that is known for its Salt Culture, Gorges, and majestic mountains but it recently made a name for itself for other reasons entirely. Upstream from Zhong County, visitors will nearly find themselves back to Chongqing’s city center, but first, they must stop to learn about the history of the very river they’re traveling at the Baiheliang, or “White Crane Ridge”, an underwater museum where the world’s only underwater stone carvings can be found!
