Eminem remembers first time he met 50 Cent at Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony #Grammy award winning rapper and actor #50Cent was honored with a star on the #Hollywood #WalkofFame on Thursday (January 30) surrounded by guests including his contemporaries and collaborators #Dr.Dre and #Eminem.

Real name, Curtis James Jackson III, 50 Cent rose to fame following the release of his hit debut album 'Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2003.

The hit record, which was produced by Eminem and Dr, Dre, went on to sell milllions of copies worldwide.

Making a rare public appearance Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, made a speech at the event in Hollywood, remembering the first time he met 50 Cent back in 2002.

''I think one of the things I noticed when he first walked into the room was his presence right, because it just kind of felt like he's going to be a star the way he carried himself, swagger, everything like I don't know it just seemed like he was the whole package,'' he said.

Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent became one of the worlds best selling rappers well known for tracks such as 'Candy Shop' and 'That Ain't Gangsta'. In 2010 he won a Grammy Award, along with Eminem and Dr. Dre, for their performance of 'Crack A Bottle'.

He has also pursued a career as an actor and currently stars in and produces crime drama 'Power'.

As he introduced him to stage Eminem reminded the crowd of 50 Cent's many skills.

''In the same way that he is relentless in his battles he is also relentless in his business he is an artist, an entreprenuer, an actor, a director, a producer, he can juggle, he is great at Scrabble - he pretty much does it all.''

''So 50 congratulations on your star man, Hollywood is making official what I knew from the beginning and Dre knew from the beginning.''

The star was the 2,686th on the famous Walk of Fame in Los Angeles.
