Here's why AR Murugadoss is seeking police protection

Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' director AR Murugadoss has filed a petition in Madras High Court seeking police protection against the alleged harassment from the distributors. According to a report, the filmmaker in his petition claimed that around 30 to 40 distributors are allegedly hounding him and seeking compensation for incurring losses from distributing 'Darbar'.

Reportedly the film which was made with a budget of ₹200 crore has tanked at the box office. Reports claim despite the film collecting ₹250 crores worldwide, the distributors have incurred loses of nearly ₹70 crores.
