Lucknow (UP), Feb 09 (ANI): Indian Army Major Anoop Mishra developed bulletproof helmet that can withstand force of even AK-47 bullets. The helmet can give protection from AK-47 bullet fired from a range of 10 meters. He has also developed a full body bullet proof jacket for protection from sniper rifle bullets. Helmet has been named ‘Abhedya-1’. Major Anoop Mishra also showcased the indigenous ‘Parth’ gunshot locator device jointly developed by an Army institute and a private firm, which was on display at the annual DefExpo event in Lucknow. ‘Parth’ can locate exact location of a bullet from a distance of 400m and will help to locate and neutralize terrorist faster. It costs around Rs 3 lakh and if inducted, would replace a similar imported item which costs around Rs 65 lakh. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
