Artist Stacie Monday engages in conversation with Artist Classi Nance Jimoh about her journey creating the series "The Concept of Identity." Monday shares the steps she took to trace her genealogy, what she found, the emotions that she went through and the questions she still has.

A self taught artist from Tulsa, Stacie Monday uses her work to celebrate African American women and be an activist in her community. Monday has exhibited her work in various regional art shows and is a muralist.
