As you may remember, this mission has Nod attacking a city harboring an as of yet unknown hostile militia, which isn't GDI at all.
This cutscene shows the aftermath of that very attack.
A few more visuals are planned like:
-animated fog
-fires
-bloodstains
-scorch marks
