Abstract: An essential part of many automotive, industrial or technical applications are magnetic field sensors. The ongoing digitization effort in many of such field the number of electronic components in such applications is dramatically increasing. In this paper an angular sensing approach with improved robustness against stray fields as well as mechanical tolerances is presented. The approach is based on an array of 2D magnetometers. A two-tier workflow is presented based on 2D discrete Fourier transformations and neuronal networks. The approach was verified by extensive simulations and measurements.
