American Airlines flight #AA729 forced to divert as chemical spill causes sickness ATC

American Airlines flight #AA729 from #London to #Philadelphia was forced to land in #Dublin after a chemical spill which caused a "sickness outbreak" in midair.
Two crew members and five passengers were taken to hospital, and young athletes on their way to represent Great Britain have been left stranded in the Irish capital.
The American Airlines flight AA729 from London Heathrow turned around after passing the south west of Ireland.A statement from the airline said: "American Airlines flight 729 from London Heathrow to Philadelphia diverted to Dublin due to an odor caused by a spilled cleaning solution in the galley.
"The flight landed safely in Dublin at 1.15pm local time, and taxied to the gate.
"Medical personnel have met the aircraft to evaluate any crew members or passengers who may need additional assistance."
