Why A More Expensive Watch Is Cheaper! Hamilton VS Timex

Here is an example of why I think its better to save your money and buy a more expensive and better built watch, then to waste money on a cheap one. Don't get me wrong, the Timex I used as an example is not a bad watch, but the quality and overall length of "time" it will last in a physical profession is not that long.

Here was an overall of the break down:
The Timex Expedition was $40. Worn for a total time of 6 months, 4 days a week, bring the cost per wear to $.33 a day in value.

The Hamilton Khaki Field Watch, on sale at under $400, worn for the same 4 days a week, will last for years. I used the time of 5 years as that's how long I've been wearing mine. The total value in cost per wear is $.22 a day. The average time between services is 10 years. Meaning the value per wear gets less as long as you have it. Which could be a LIFE TIME
