In this R&B guitar tutorial, I'm showing you how to play licks (or fills) and chords in your playing. Using an R&B song, I show you how you can add licks or fills to this song, which is basically simple chords. Once you learn the basic chords to play the song, I'll give intermediates and advanced players a couple of ideas of how you can embellish or add more to the chords - one idea is to use triads. Practice the ideas I'm teaching so that you get them under your fingers and you'll see how quickly you'll be able to use them in your playing!
My best advice to you is to take your time and over time increase your speed. Getting better as a guitar player is a marathon, not a sprint. Have fun!
