Description: Poly Scientific Ayurveda is an advanced form of scientific amalgamation of Ayurveda and allopathy, which evolved into a new method of clinical biotechnology. Dr. Polisetty Ravishankar is a trained Cardiac Surgeon and having read original Sanskrit scriptures of Ayurveda figured out that our indigenous medical sciences could enormously contribute to enhance Allopathic understanding of the human physiology and improve health care globally, through his 100-man years of translational research, and the data and knowledge derived therefrom is coined as “Poly Scientific Ayurveda”. Advanced research and clinical methodologiesderived from Poly Scientific Ayurvedic approach in the near future will be delivered by automated and advanced digital, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) technologies to improve clinical outcomes in terminally ill and chronically disabled patients excluded from conventional clinical interventions.
Humans are made up of 70-80 % of water. In the market, there are various types of packaged water available (Mineral water, demineralized water, alkaline water, etc.,) and people are confused on the subject of which of them is good for them. Alkaline water is being suggested as a Panacea and Dr Polisetty brings in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda to help you understand what is good for you and dispel the myth of a universally good remedy for everyone.
Your metabolic type (Prakriti) decides the way water is consumed, utilised and eliminated from the body and according to Ayurveda there are different prakriti’s (Vaatha Dominant, Pittha dominant, Kapha dominant, Vaatha -Pittha dominant, Vaatha Kapha dominant, Pittha-Kapha, Vaatha Pittha Kapha dominant). It is important to know prakriti and Vikriti (the VPK fingerprint at a point of time when patient is being investigated), so that the doctor (Ayurvedic Vaidya) understands the internal environment of the individual. Because the internal environment decides the fate of various biochemicals, including water and their interactions inside the body, which in turn is dependent on the proportions of Vaatha, Pittha and Kapha in various organs (VPK Fingerprint). In this interview, Dr Polisetty explains, based on his experimental data, how the structure of water changes in different dosha environments and based on which gives tips on what kind of water is good for an individual.
