Why is this happening? The rising cost of living in the Bay Area is just a reality, making the search for a better life more appealing, and for some Bay Area natives, necessary. Chicago checks all the boxes: a thriving city, great schools, good food, public transit and now that companies are finding their way there, a growing job market. It'll be exciting to see how the city evolves and potentially morphs into one of the main tech hubs in the country.
