Dividing complex numbers can be more complicated than multiplying complex numbers since when the result is a fraction, in order to write that fraction as a complex number in standard form, it must be separated into a real part plus an imaginary part. This may require the fraction's numerator and denominator to be multiplied by the denominator's complex conjugate.
