Our 16.575 kW system wasn't cutting it. While it produced a lot, charging 3-4 Teslas, it wasn't able to keep up with our usage. So we added a "small" sized system to our current system to have over 20 kW solar system now. That's the system we originally wanted, but our utility company wouldn't allow it unless we proved we needed it, so it took a year of usage with our original system to show them.
