NESO demands Centre to expedite process of implementing ILP in Meghalaya

The North East Student's Union today urged the central government to expedite the process of implementing the Inner Line Permit in Meghalaya and extending the same to the other states of the Northeast.
Talking to Northeast Live, NESO Chairman, Samuel Jyrwa said that ILP has been a long pending demand of the KSU and the people of Meghalaya.
Expressing hope that the Centre would pay heed to the NESO demands, Jyrwa added that the Centre must clear on the issue of implementing the ILP in Meghalaya and rest of the Northeast.
