EU Judges Demand Control Over UK Post Brexit. As we get closer to Brexit day, the EU keep coming up with new demands. This time they want the European court of justice to have oversight when it comes to post Brexit relationship between the UK and the EU. The ECJ is not an independent body as it’s tied to the EU machine. In other news, David Sassoli, the president of the European Parliament has softened his approach while the British MEPs say goodbye to Brussels. Boris Johnson and his government now need to consider their negotiations strategy for the 11 months with options on the table such as imposing tariffs on EU products, a similar approach taken by President Trump.
