Finishing my $5000 Raccoon Enclosure! Raccoon Real Estate

Finishing my $5000 Raccoon Enclosure! Raccoon Real Estate Its been quite the adventure turning this small basement into a room fit for a raccoon! To start, I had to finish the tree because Cheeto managed to get inside of it where he had access to the drywall. Raccoons can get through drywall quite easily so I had to seal it off before he caused too much damage. Next, I removed the original epoxy from the cement because it didn't hold up well from all the mess raccoons make. Afterwards, I refinished with a zoo grade epoxy for easy cleanup. I followed it up with several cat towers for Cheeto to climb and play on. To top it all off I finished by painting the ceiling blue to simulate the color of the sky. It goes well with the green epoxy floor I used to give it a grassy feel. It's not as good as the real thing so eventually we will have it connect to the outdoors in a massive outdoor enclosure. Stay tuned for future updates!
