In this video I restore a vintage drafting table brought to me by my high school art teacher, Mr. Lambert. I'm excited to see the art that Art creates on this piece of furniture! On this piece, I use a danish oil followed by shellac and wax for a classic hand rubbed finish. I decided to use this finish especially because he is a fan of classic antiques and also a revolutionary war reenactor! I thought, what better way to wrap his style into a piece I'm refinishing for him than to use some classic finishing techniques!
