Since the outbreak became widely known, “Big Bear”, a Wuhan native living in Flushing, New York, has felt his business impacted by coronavirus fears. “Big Bear” runs Heat Noodles, a food stall that sells Wuhan hot dry noodles, a hearty bowl of noodles smothered in sesame sauce. He reveals to the South China Morning Post how his business and the Chinese-American community has been hit by fears of the epidemic.
