Illegal adoption in the Philippines: How the trade is carried out

The adoption trade in the Philippines is illegal, but pregnant mothers, mainly in rural areas, nevertheless reach out to brokers to try and sell their child for money. The price can range from 5,000 to 20,000 pesos (US$100 to US$400). CNA spoke to a broker to find out how the trade is carried out.
